Things You Need To Find Out About The Ps3 League And How To Enjoy It

Major Gaming League decided to have ps3 league in their tournaments. The reason why gaming tournaments were invented was for people who spent a lot of time playing video games. Instead of playing for recreational purposes, the organizers decided to organize tournaments that will be beneficial to the players. This way, a player can be able to take part in games without feeling like they are wasting time.

When you become a player in the games, you are required to train a lot. Every time you play a particular game you are able to improve on your skills. This means that you are better equipped to beat other participants every time you sign up for a tournament. The winner of each tournament is usually awarded. The prizes give to the winners are different depending with the event organizers. The competition is usually very high because the players usually have their eye on the prize. Some of the players have turned the game into a professional so it is very hard for someone to beat them in a tournament. The only requirement for someone to participate in the games is for them to pay a certain fee. The number of people taking part in the tournament rises every year. Major Gaming tournaments is a very big organization. Each of the tournaments has a number of games. Each time there is a tournament, the line up keeps on changing since the games are always changing.

The games can be traced back to two thousand and two. The event always has increased following each year. Some of religious followers of the game just like to watch the participants compete. Those people who are just spectators of the game can either watch the games live or online. Every year, there are new players who are introduced into the tournament. This means that the excitement never ends. Playstation3 is the main console used in the games. This makes the tournament indiscriminately for all the clients. If you are playing a game using another console then the organizers provide you with the equipment.

The games that are not offered by the Play station are played using the machine that features them. If the event is on live, then the competitors are issued with equipment from the organizers. Some of the games in the line ups are offered as different tournaments. This is mostly for those games that have equipment that comes in series. Each of the tournaments has its own map. There are those games that have intricate features to their name. Others make use of one on one scenario for the levels that involve fighting. In such cases, most of the players find it easier to use the original version of the game.

The game recently introduced real time strategy into the tournament. These games have proven to be big hits in other countries. The games come with good support system that make it possible for two players to compete. The tournaments that take place involve various games. Most of the games that have evolved versions have various tournaments allocated to them. With every year, there is usually a new tournament meant to cater for the sequel of an existing game. Most of the people are not aware of the games being played. This is because the games rarely concentrate on marketing. There are some tournaments that give out money to the players. If you are skilled then you can earn up to half a million dollars.

The ps3 league just like any other sport penalizes a player when they are caught cheating. It is a bit hard for a person to clearly define what constitutes as cheating when it comes to such games. Manipulation of a game to favor a particular player is definitely considered as cheating.

PS3 League - Governing Bodies And Games

Taking part in a video gaming league might be considered some people's dreams come true. It's a competition between some of the best players on the planet and features some of the hottest games around. With over half a dozen different leagues to choose from with prizes up to half a million dollars, the gaming league industry is a booming business that has grown massively over the past decade. From the PS3 league to the Xbox 360 league to every platform possible, there's something for everyone, provided they're willing to pay the entry fee and pass qualifying.

MLG (Major League Gaming)

It's safe to say that the Major League Gaming collective is probably the biggest gaming league in existence today. It's been going strong for eight years now and provides consistent, annual tournaments with the latest games, though never sacrificing quality. They hold live events throughout the world, but also provide online video and audio for those unable to attend such events. The tournaments act in a similar way, sometimes taking place live, but most of the time online. Major League Gaming hold between four and six tournaments on a yearly basis. For the most part, MLG utilizes the Playstation 3 console for their gaming, but in some cases, the games have exclusivity on a certain console and cannot be purchased in any other format. In these cases, the game's native console is used. For live events, the participants are provided with all they need to play. Here is the latest lineup of games for MLG.

The Game Lineup

Halo's support for several game modes, up to sixteen players and its twitch-based combat means it's perfect for competitive cybersports. Today's tournaments see Halo 3 and Halo: Reach possessing two of the six tournaments to themselves in four versus four matches. The series is known for its first-person shooter (FPS) format and science-fiction setting. As a complement to Halo, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 joins it to provide similar gameplay, yet a differing setting. These three games are part of a venerable series and provide excellent support for competitive team-based matches.

Fighting games have long been the focus of many gaming tournaments and with Tekken 6's debut on MLG this year, this is going to be no exception. Joining Tekken 6 is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, providing only slightly differing gameplay, but consistent rules. Unlike most of the other present games, Tekken 6 has never had any of its iterations present on MLG.

Starcraft 2's release saw booming sales, especially in Korea, where it's become a favorite pastime of the nation. Its own debut in the MLG tournament makes it the first real-time strategy game and a solidly backed one at that. It provides excellent support for competitions and is updated regularly.

Ps3 tournaments have featured the long-running World of Warcraft, Gears of War, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and it's sequel, Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, Shadowrun, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Generally competitors don't crossover to different games and only compete within their own tournaments yearly. Next year is likely to see some newer games, including the next Call of Duty: Black Ops.
